Administration Independents 7, Opposition Independents 4, Reform UK 2. Most of the Grampian peninsula, including tourist areas of Royal Deeside around Balmoral and the fishing ports of the Buchan coast. There is a rainbow anti-SNP coalition administration.

At byelections on 7 November, the Conservatives gained seats from the Scottish National Party in Central Buchan, Fraserburgh and District, and in Mearns ward. Mark Findlater (Troup) and Laurie Carnie (Mearns) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in October 2024. Alastair Forsyth (Turriff and District) moved from Scottish National Party to Independent in September 2024, but returned in November 2024.
