Our West Lancashire 4. Low-lying area between Southport and Wigan, with the largest town being the unfinished new town of Skelmersdale (one claimant as the largest in England with no railway station). Nearby is the market town of Ormskirk, home to Edge Hill University, and Burscough.
There will be a double vacancy election in Tarleton Village on 2 May (held by the Conservatives). The council will be run by the committee system from May 2024.
