Based around naval base jutting out into Portsmouth Harbour; the Haslar area including the former military hospital is being redeveloped.

The Conservatives gained a seat in Harbourside and Town from Labour at a byelection on 21 November. Labour gained Grange and Alver Valley from the Conservatives at a byelection on 4 July.
