The Liberal Democrats held seats in Minster and Woodmansey, and in Tranby, at byelections on 29 February. Maria Bowtell (Bridlington Central and Old Town) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in February 2024. David Nolan (Hessle) moved from Liberal Democrat to Labour in January 2024.
