Independent and Green Group 4 (includes the Green Party); Reform UK 2, Independent 1. Breckland is a gorse-covered sandy area in south Norfolk and north Suffolk; the council is based in East Dereham.

Thetford Priory has a byeleciton on 1 May (held by Labour). Reform UK gained Bedingfield from the Conservatives at a byelection on 27 February. Robin Hunter-Clarke (Hermitage) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in January 2025.
