Croydon borough councillor Mike Mogul, elected for Labour in West Thornton ward, has now joined the Conservative group. The Conservatives have also recruited Rob Crocker, elected as a Liberal Democrat to South Lakeland District Council, to their group; however Councillor Crocker has less than two months left in his term because all councillors in South Lakeland will be up for re-election in May after boundary changes.
