The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • North Lincolnshire: The byelection in Axholme North ward held on 6 June was won by Ian Bint. Conservative hold.
  • North Lincolnshire: The byelection in Brumby ward held on 6 June was won by Daniel Hart. Labour hold.
  • Powys: The byelection in Rhiwcynon division held on 4 June was won by John Yeomans. Conservative gain from an Independent.
  • Telford and Wrekin: The byelection in The Nedge ward held on 6 June was won by Corrine Chikandamina. Labour hold.
  • Torbay: The byelection in Wellswood ward held on 6 June was won by Hazel Foster, by nine votes after two recounts. The Conservatives recover a seat lost when the former councillor left the party, and as a result have half the councillors.

  • Bedford: Wyboston ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Julie Cox. Term ends 2026.
  • Oxford: Marston ward, after the resignation of Green Party councillor Alistair Morris. Term ends 2026.
  • Swale: Priory ward, after the death of Liberal Democrat councillor Mike Henderson. Term ends 2027.

  • Lewisham: The byelection due in Blackheath ward will be held on 4 July.
  • Newham: The byelection due in Beckton ward will be held on 18 July.
  • Newham: The byelection due in Forest Gate North ward will be held on 4 July.
  • Newham: The byelection due in Maryland ward will be held on 4 July.
  • Oxford: The byelection due in Marston ward will be held on 18 July.
  • Sefton: The byelection due in Linacre ward will be held on 4 July.
  • South Derbyshire: The byelection due in Hatton ward will be held on 4 July.
  • South Gloucestershire: The byelection due in Kingswood ward will be held on 4 July.
