The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
- Camden: The byelection in Highgate ward held on 30 November was won by Lorna Russell. Green Party hold.
- Durham: The byelection in Dawdon division held on 30 November was won by June Watson. Labour hold.
- Corporation of London: The byelection for a Common Councilman in Farringdon Without ward was decided at the wardmote on 29 November when Suzanne Ornsby was elected unopposed. She was sponsored by Temple and Farringdon Together (as was the previous councillor) but will sit as a non-partisan councillor.
- Corporation of London: The election of an Alderman in Portsoken ward held on 30 November was won by the incumbent Prem Goyal.
- North Yorkshire: The byelection in Sowerby and Topcliffe division held on 30 November was won by Dan Sladden. Liberal Democrat gain from Green Party.

New vacancies
- Barnsley: Kingstone ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Pooja Ramchandani. As her term was due to end in May next year, no byelection follows.
- Buckinghamshire: Hazlemere division, after the death of Conservative councillor Ron Gaffney. Term ends 2025.
- Castle Point: Canvey Island North ward, after the resignation of Canvey Island Independent Party councillor John Payne. His term would have ended next May so there will be no byelection.
- Newcastle upon Tyne: Lemington ward, after the resignation of Newcastle Independents councillor Jason Smith. No byelection will happen as his term would have ended in May next year.
- Rossendale: Longholme ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Steve Hughes. He will not be replaced in a byelection as his term would have ended next May.
- Warwick: Warwick All Saints and Woodloes ward, after the resignation of Labour counbcillor Raj Kang. Term ends 2027.
Dates for byelections
- Salford: The byelection due in Quays ward will be held on 11 January 2024.
- Stirling: The byelection due in Dunblane and Bridge of Allan ward will be held on Burns Night, 25 January 2024.
- Tendring: The byelection due in Bluehouse ward will be held on 11 January 2024.
