The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Changes of allegiance
- Bromley: Shaun Slator, who was elected for the Conservatives in St Mary Cray ward but was suspended from the party in January over a controversial tweet, has now been expelled permanently.
- Pembrokeshire: Andrew Edwards, who was elected for the Conservatives in Haverfordwest Prendergast division, has left the group and is sitting as an ungrouped Independent councillor.
- Walsall: Richard Worrall, who was elected for the Labour Party in Rushall-Shelfield ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor. Meanwhile Rose Martin (Pelsall ward), who had been suspended from the Conservative Party group, has now returned to it.
- Wokingham: Shirley Boyt, who was elected for the Labour Party in Bulmershe and Whitegates ward, has left the party group and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
New vacancies
- Camden: South Hampstead ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Will Prince due to work commitments. Term ends 2026.
- Norfolk: West Depwade division, after the death of Conservative councillor Barry Duffin. Term ends 2025.
- South Norfolk: Forncett ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Barry Duffin. His term was due to end next month so no byelection follows.
- South Tyneside: Biddick and All Saints ward, after the death of Labour councillor Joe Amar. As his term was due to end next month, there will be no byelection.
Date for byelection
- North Yorkshire: The byelection due in Eastfield division will be held on 25 May.
