The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Camden: The byelection in Hampstead Town ward held on 7 July was won by Linda Chung, who was a ward councillor in 2008-14. Liberal Democrat gain from Labour.
Chesterfield: The byelection in Hollingwood and Inkersall ward held on 7 July was won by Deborah Wheeldon. Labour gain from Independent.
Epsom and Ewell: The byelection in West Ewell ward held on 7 July was won by Alan Williamson. Residents’ Association hold.
Hackney: The byelection in De Beauvoir ward held on 7 July was won by Joe Walker. Labour hold.
City of London Corporation: The election for an Alderman in Bridge and Bridge Without ward held on 7 July was won by Tim Levene.
City of London Corporation: The election for an Alderman in Walbrook ward held on 7 July was won by Jennette Newman.
Milton Keynes: The byelection in Woughton and Fishermead ward held on 7 July was won by Sue Smith. Labour hold.
Mole Valley: The byelection in Charlwood ward held on 30 June was won by Lisa Scott. Green Party gain from Conservative.
Welwyn Hatfield: The byelection in Hatfield Central ward held on 7 July was won by Kieran Thorpe. Labour hold.
West Sussex: The byelection in Worthing West division held on 7 July was won by Graham McKnight. Labour hold.
Changes of allegiance
Cheshire East: Andrew Gregory, who was elected for the Conservatives in Sutton ward, has joined the Independent group.
East Dunbartonshire: Andrew Polson, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bearsden South ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Guildford: Jan Harwood, who was elected for the Liberal Democats in Merrow ward but joined the Conservatives in November last year, has now left the Conservatives to sit as an Independent councillor.
Ribble Valley: Two councillors have left the Conservative group to sit as Independent councillors. They are Ian Brown (Salthill ward) and James Rogerson (Alston and Hothersall ward).
Sandwell: Laured Kalari, who was elected for the Conservatives in Rowley ward but was suspended from membership in January, has been readmitted.
