The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
- Breckland: The byelection in Mattishall ward held on 9 June was won by Paul Plummer. Conservative hold.
- Crawley: The byelection in Southgate ward held on 9 June was won by Bob Noyce. Labour hold; in doing so the party has preserved its overall majority on the council.
- Sevenoaks: The byelection in Penshurst, Fordcombe and Chiddingstone ward held on 9 June was won by Richard Streatfeild. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
Changes of allegiance
- Cheltenham: Wendy Flynn, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Hesters Way ward, has joined the Green Party.
- Cheshire West and Chester: Martyn Delaney, who was elected for the Labour Party in Chester City and The Garden Quarter ward, has left the party to sit as a non-aligned Independent councillor.
- Peterborough: Julie Stevenson (formerly Julie Howell), who was elected for the Green Party in Orton Waterville ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
- Spelthorne: The two unaffiliated Independent councillors have now joined party groups on the council, while remaining Independent councillors. Bob Noble (Ashford Common ward) is now in the Green Party group; Michele Gibson (Riverside and Laleham ward) is now in the Liberal Democrat group.
New vacancies
- East Riding of Yorkshire: Beverley Rural ward, after the death of Conservative councillor and Vice-Chairman of the council, Pauline Greenwood. Term ends 2023.
- Staffordshire Moorlands: Biddulph West ward, after the death of non-aligned councillor Hilda Sheldon MBE. Term ends 2023.
- Wyre: Preesall ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Andrew Cropper. Term ends 2023.

- Coventry: The byelection due in Binley and Willenhall ward will be held on 14 July.
- Hyndburn: The byelection due in Overton ward will be held on 14 July.
- North Tyneside: The byelection due in Camperdown ward will be held on 14 July.
- Rutland: The byelection due in Oakham South ward will be held on 14 July.
- South Somerset: The byelection due in Brympton ward will be held on 14 July.
- Wandsworth: The byelection due in Tooting Broadway ward will be held on 14 July.
- Warwickshire: The byelection due in Arden division will be held on 14 July.
- Wirral: The byelection due in Liscard ward will be held on 14 July.
