The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Changes of allegiance
- Glasgow: John Letford, who was elected for the Scottish National Party in Maryhill ward, has joined the Alba Party. As a result the SNP/Scottish Green coalition no longer has an overall majority.
- Selby: Two councillors elected for the Yorkshire Party have joined the Conservatives. They are Mike Jordan (Camblesforth and Carlton ward), who had left the Conservatives in July 2018, and his daughter Ellie Jordan (Byram and Brotherton ward). The remaining Yorkshire Party councillor, Dave Brook (Sherburn in Elmet ward), is sitting in a joint Selby Independents and Yorkshire Party group.
New vacancies
- Elmbridge: Cobham and Downside ward, after the death of veteran Conservative councillor Dorothy Mitchell. Term ends 2023.
- Ribble Valley: Alston and Hothersall ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Jim Rogerson, who was elected as a Conservative. Term ends 2023.

- None set this week.
Postponed polls
- Norfolk: The election in Sewell division, which was postponed from 6 May by the death of a candidate, will now take place on 17 June.
- Norwich: The election in Sewell ward, which was postponed from 6 May by the death of a candidate, will now take place on 17 June.
- Tandridge: The byelection in Felbridge ward has been postponed from 6 May following the death of Chris Kelly who had been nominated as the Labour Party candidate.
