The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Ceredigion: Wyn Thomas (Plaid Cymru) was elected unopposed for Llandyfriog division on 11 May. The poll had been postponed from 4 May following the death of the Liberal Democrat candidate, but no replacement came forward.
  • King’s Lynn and West Norfolk: The byelection in Fairstead ward on 11 May was won by Gary Howman. Labour hold.
  • South Derbyshire: The byelection in Woodville ward on 11 May was won by Ray Tipping. Conservative hold.

New vacancies

  • Bromsgrove: Alvechurch Village ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Roger Smith. Term ends 2019.
  • Broxtowe: Toton and Chilwell Meadows ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Mia Kee. Term ends 2019.
  • Crawley: Pound Hill South and Worth ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Beryl MeCrow. Term ends 2019.
  • East Cambridgeshire: Soham North ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor James Palmer, now Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Term ends 2019.
  • King’s Lynn and West Norfolk: St Margarets with St Nicholas ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Claire Kittow. Term ends 2019.
  • Luton: Sundon Park ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Fiona Green. Term ends 2019.
  • Moray: Elgin City North ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Sandy Cooper (less than a week after he was elected). Term ends 2022.
  • Sevenoaks: Penshurst, Fordcombe and Chiddingstone ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Patrick Cooke. Term ends 2019.
  • South Gloucestershire: Winterbourne ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Tim Bowles, now Mayor of the West of England. Term ends 2019.
  • Staffordshire Moorlands: Leek East ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Rebecca Done. Term ends 2019.
  • Thanet: Margate Central ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Jeffrey Elenor (who was elected for the UK Independence Party). Term ends 2019.

  • Blackburn with Darwen: The byelection due in Higher Croft ward will be held on 8 June.
  • Bromsgrove: The byelection due in Alvechurch Village ward will be held on 8 June.
  • Broxtowe: The byelection due in Toton and Chilwell Meadows ward will be held on 8 June.
  • Crawley: The byelection due in Pound Hill South and Worth ward will be held on 8 June.
  • East Cambridgeshire: The byelection due in Soham North ward will be held on 22 June.
  • Luton: The byelection due in Sundon Park ward will be held on 8 June.
  • Moray: The byelection due in Elgin City North ward will be held on 13 July.
  • Oldham: The byelection due in Royton North ward will be held on 8 June.
  • Powys: After no candidates were nominated for the election on 4 May, an election in Yscir ward will be held on 22 June.

Other updates
