Results
- Glasgow: The byelection in North East ward held on 20 March was won by Donna McGill. Scottish National Party gain from Labour.
- Glasgow: The byelection in Southside Central ward held on 20 March was won by Mhairi Hunter. Scottish National Party gain from Labour.
- Harborough: The byelection in Glen ward held on 19 March was won by Peter Scott. Conservative hold.
- Mole Valley: The byelection in Holmwoods and Beare Green ward held on 20 March was won by Bradley Nelson. Liberal Democrat hold.
- North Kesteven: The byelection in Bracebridge Heath ward held on 20 March was won by David Nash. Conservative hold.
- Three Rivers: The byelection in Abbots Langley and Bedmond ward held on 19 March was won by Ian Campbell. Conservative gain from an Independent elected for the Liberal Democrats.
Defections
- Blackpool: Emma Ellison, who was elected for the Conservatives in Norbreck ward, has joined Reform UK.
- Cheshire West and Chester: Mandy Clare, who was elected as an Independent in Winsford Dene and has previously been a member of Winsford Salt of the Eath and the Party of Women, has now joined Reform UK.
- Cumberland: Mike Hawkins, who was elected for the Labour Party in Mirehouse ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
- Dudley: Pete Lowe, who was elected for the Labour Party in Lye and Stourbridge North ward and was Labour group leader, has left the party and is sitting as an Independent councillor. He has been followed by a group of three more: Matt Cook (Brierley Hill and Wordsley South ward), Peter Drake (Coseley ward) and Karl Denning (Castle and Priory ward). Finally Karen Westwood (Brockmoor and Pensnett) made the move as well.
- East Hertfordshire: Graham McAndrew, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bishop’s Stortford Thorley Manor ward, has joined Reform UK.
- East Riding of Yorkshire: Maria Bowtell, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bridlington Central and Old Town ward, but joined Reform UK in March last year, has now left the party and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
- Epsom and Ewell: Julie Morris, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in College ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
- Hertfordshire: Graham McAndrew, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bishop’s Stortford Rural division, has joined Reform UK.
- Lancashire: Ged Mirfin, who was elected for the Conservatives in Ribble Valley North East division, has joined Reform UK.
- Lewisham: Hau-Yu Tam, who was elected for the Labour Party in Evelyn ward but left the party in July last year, has joined the Green Party.
- North Northamptonshire: Jan O’Hara, who was elected for the Conservatives in Burton and Broughton ward, has joined Reform UK.
- Oxfordshire: Felix Bloomfield, who was elected for the Conservatives in Benson and Cholsey division, has joined Reform UK. Kevin Bulmer, who was elected for the Conservatives in Goring but left the party in July last year, has also joined the group.
- Ribble Valley: Stephen Atkinson, who was elected for the Conservatives in Brockhall and Dinckley ward, has joined Reform UK.
- Stratford-on-Avon: Sarah Whalley-Hoggins, who was elected for the Conservatives in Brailes and Compton ward, has joined Reform UK.
- Tamworth: Stephen Doyle (Stonydelph ward) and Martin Summers (Trinity ward), who were both elected for the Conservatives but left the party group last month, have now returned to it.
- Uttlesford: Heather Asker, who was elected as Residents for Uttlesford councillor for Saffron Walden Castle ward, has joined Reform UK.
- Wyre: Paul Ellison, who was elected for the Conservatives in Marsh Mill ward but left the party in January, has now joined Reform UK.
