- Bromsgrove: The byelection in Sidemoor ward held on 19 September was won by James Clarke. Liberal Democrat gain from Labour.
- Cornwall: The byelection in Falmouth Penwerris division held on 19 September was won by Alan Rowe. Labour hold.
- Gedling: The byelection in Bestwood St Albans ward held on 16 September was won by Darren Maltby. Conservative gain from Labour.
- Hartlepool: The byelection in Burn Valley ward held on 19 September was won by Owen Riddle. Labour hold.
- Huntingdonshire: The byelection in St Neots Eatons ward held on 19 September was won by Barry Chapman. Independent gain from Conservative.
- Stockton-on-Tees: The byelection for two seats in Fairfield ward held on 19 September was won by Jack Miller and Mohammed Mazi. Conservatives hold both seats.
- Westminster: The byelection in Harrow Road ward held on 19 September was won by Regan Hook. Labour hold.
- Westminster: The byelection in West End ward held on 19 September was won by Tim Barnes. Conservative gain from Labour.
- Worthing: The byelection in Arran ward held on 12 September was won by Thomas Taylor. Conservative gain from Labour.
Changes of allegiance
- Angus: Serena Cowdy, who was elected for the Scottish National Party in Arbroath West, Letham and Friockheim ward, has left the party to sit as a non-aligned councillor.
- Bradford: Atira Malik, who was elected as an Independent in Toller ward, has left the main Bradford Independents group and is now sitting as an ungrouped ‘Toller Independent 1’ councillor.
