Dorset: The byelection in Littlemoor and Preston ward held on 11 January was won by Peter Dickenson. The result is a Conservative hold but the winner will not be able to take up his seat as he was discovered after nomination to be disqualified: he works occasionally as a lollipop man which counts as employment by the council.
Salford: The byelection in Quays ward held on 11 January was won by Paul Heilbron. Liberal Democrat hold.
Tendring: The byelection in Bluehouse ward held on 11 January was won by Bernie Goldman. Independent gain from Labour; he will join the Tendring Independents group on the council.
North Lanarkshire: Beth Baudo, who was elected in Mossend and Holytown ward for the Scottish National Party but left to form Progressive Change North Lanarkshire last May, has now joined the Labour Party.
Worcestershire: Bill Hopkins, who was elected for the Conservatives in Kidderminster St Chads division, has joined Reform UK.

Great Yarmouth: Central and Northgate ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Mike Smith-Clare. Term ends 2027.
Lewisham: Mayor of Lewisham, after the resignation of Labour Mayor Damien Egan in order to stand in the Kingswood Parliamentary byelection. Term ends 2026.
