Greens climb the cliff in Bournemouth

The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Bedford: The byelection in Wyboston ward held on 29 June was won by Julie Cox. Conservative hold.
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole: The byelection in East Cliff and Springbourne ward held on 29 June, was won by Sara Armstrong. Green Party gain from Labour.
Dorset: The byelection in Sherborne West division held on 29 June was won by Richard Crabb. Liberal Democrat hold.
Haringey: The byelection in Hermitage and Gardens ward held on 29 June, was won by Anna Lawton. Labour hold.
Southwark: The byelection in Newington ward held on 29 June, was won by Youcef Hassaine. Labour hold.

Central Bedfordshire: Steve Owen, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Leighton Linslade West ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Folkestone and Hythe: Anita Jones, who was elected for the Green Party in Hythe ward but left the group in May, has now returned to it.
Milton Keynes: James Lancaster, who was elected for the Conservatives in Tattenhoe ward, has joined the Labour Party.
North Tyneside: Two councillors have left the Labour group to sit as Independents. They are Gary Madden (Wallsend ward) and Cath Davis (Preston ward).
Wakefield: Ray Massey, who was elected for the Conservatives in Ackworth, North Elmsall and Upton ward, has left the party and is sitting as an Independent councillor.

Broadland: Thorpe St Andrew North West ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Drew Moore. Term ends 2027.
Highland: Tain and Easter Ross ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Sarah Rawlings. Term ends 2027.
Wychavon: Evesham South ward, after the death of Green Party councillor Ed Cohen. Term ends 2027.

Dudley: The byelection due in Cradley and Wollescote ward will be held on 3 August.
East Sussex: The byelection due in Eastbourne Meads division will be held on 3 August.
Highland: The byelection due in Tain and Easter Ross ward will be held on 28 September.
Norfolk: The byelection due in Freebridge Lynn division will be held on 3 August.
Reading: The byelection due in Norcot ward will be held on 3 August.
