The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Breckland: The byelection in Thetford Boudica ward held on 14 July was won by Terry Land. Labour gain from Conservative.
Coventry: The byelection in Binley and Willenhall ward held on 14 July was won by Seyi Agboola. Labour hold.
Hyndburn: The byelection in Overton ward held on 14 July was won by Colin McKenzie. Labour hold.
North Tyneside: The byelection in Camperdown ward held on 14 July was won by Peter Earley, former councillor for Benton ward. Labour hold.
South Somerset: The byelection in Brympton ward held on 14 July was won by Barbara Appleby. Liberal Democrat hold.
Wandsworth: The byelection in Tooting Broadway ward held on 14 July was won by Rex Osborn. Labour hold.
Warwickshire: The byelection in Arden division held on 14 July was won by Ian Shenton. Conservative hold.
Wirral: The byelection in Liscard ward held on 14 July was won by James Stewart Laing. Labour hold.

Leicester: Lindsay Broadwell, who was elected for the Labour Party in Western ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Moray: Neil McLennan, who was elected for the Conservatives in Buckie ward and was the group leader, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor. He remains co-leader of the council.
Redcar and Cleveland: Adam Brook, who was elected as an Independent in Grangetown ward, has joined the Labour Party.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole: Highcliffe and Walkford ward, after the death of Christchurch Independent councillor Nick Geary. Term ends 2023.
Cannock Chase: Hednesford North ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Matt McCall. Term ends 2025.
Mendip: Butleigh and Baltonsborough ward, after the death of veteran Conservative councillor Nigel Woollcombe-Adams. Term ends when the authority is abolished at the end of March next year.
Rossendale: Helmshore ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Tony Haworth. Term ends 2023.

East Riding of Yorkshire: The byelection due in Beverley Rural ward will be held on 25 August.
Wyre: The byelection due in Preesall ward will be held on 18 August.

Birmingham: An election petition has been lodged relating to Aston ward at the May elections, challenging the return of Liberal Democrat councillors Mumtaz Hussain and Ayoub Khan.
