Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole: Two members of Poole People have left the group to sit as Independent councillors. They are Julie Bagwell and Daniel Butt who both represent Hamworthy ward; Bagwell has indicated she will continue to support the ruling multi-party coalition.
East Northamptonshire: Lance Jones, who was elected for the Conservatives in Raunds Saxon ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Lancashire: Mark Perks, who was elected for the Conservatives in Clayton with Whittle division, has left the party to sit as an Independent county councillor.
Powys: A new ‘Action for Powys’ (‘Action for Council Tax in Our Neighbourhoods’) group has been formed by three councillors from the Independent Group: Jeremy Pugh (Builth division), Martin Weale (Llanbadarn Fawr division) and Ange Williams (Knighton division).
Winchester: Victoria Weston, who was elected for the Conservatives in Central Meon Valley ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
