Change of allegiance
- Glasgow: Glenn Elder, who was elected for the Scottish National Party in Linn ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
New vacancy
- Gwynedd: Morfa Nefyn division, after the resignation of Plaid Cymru councillor Siân Wyn Hughes. Term ends 2022.
Dates for byelections
- Gwynedd: The byelection due in Morfa Nefyn division will be held on 23 May.
- Neath Port Talbot: The byelection due in Resolven division will be held on 23 May.
Postponed poll
- Herefordshire: The election in Ross North ward has been postponed from 2 May to 6 June, following the death of Gareth Williams who had been nominated for the UK Independence Party.
