The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Ashford: The byelection in Kennington ward held on 25 October was won by Nathan Iliffe. Conservative hold by 20 votes.
  • Basingstoke and Deane: The byelection in Norden ward held on 25 October was won by Carolyn Wooldridge. Labour hold.
  • Dorset: The byelection in Ferndown division held on 25 October was won by Mike Parkes. Conservative hold.
  • East Dorset: The byelection in Ferndown Central ward held on 25 October was won by Mike Parkes. Conservative hold.
  • Hertfordshire: The byelection in Three Rivers Rural division held on 25 October was won by Phil Williams. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
  • Mendip: The byelection in Wells St Thomas’ ward held on 25 October was won by Tom Ronan. The Liberal Democrats regain a seat they lost when the outgoing councillor joined the Conservatives.
  • North Lanarkshire: The byelection in Coatbridge South ward was won by Geraldine Woods. Labour hold.
  • South Derbyshire: The byelection in Linton ward held on 25 October was won by Dan Pegg. Conservative hold.
  • Suffolk: The byelection in Bosmere division held on 25 October was won by Kay Oakes. Conservative hold.
  • Sutton: The byelection in Belmont ward held on 25 October was won by Neil Garratt, who returns to the council five months after losing his seat in Beddington South ward. Conservative hold.
