Sevenoaks: The byelection in Penshurst, Fordcombe and Chiddingstone ward on 3 August was won by Sue Coleman. Conservative hold.
Swale: The byelection in Milton Regis ward on 3 August was won by Tony Winckless. Labour gain from UK Independence Party.
Thanet: The byelection in Margate Central ward on 3 August was won by Ian Venables. Labour gain from an Independent elected for the UK Independence Party.
Worthing: The byelection in Marine ward on 3 August was won by Beccy Cooper. Labour gain from Conservative.
Harrow: Chika Amadi, who was elected for the Labour Party in Edgware ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor. Her membership was suspended over controversial social media posts.
Newcastle-under-Lyme: Two councillors who moved from Labour to the Borough Independent Group in March, have now formed their own Kidsgrove Independent Group. They are Margaret Astle and Reginald Bailey, both of whom represent Kidsgrove ward.
Sandwell: Steven Frear, who was elected for the Labour Party in Bristnall ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Stafford: William Taylor, who was elected for the Conservatives in Highfields and Western Downs ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Tendring: Two councillors elected for the UK Independence Party in Golf Green ward have joined the Conservative Party. They are Roy Raby and Kevin Watson. The Conservatives now have exactly half of the councillors but continue to run the council in coalition with the Independent group.

Cannock Chase: Hednesford South ward, after the disqualification of Conservative councillor Joanne Christian who failed to attend any meetings of the council in six months. Term ends 2019.
Herefordshire: Golden Valley South ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Graham Powell. Term ends 2019.
Mid Devon: Westexe ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Jonathan Smith who was elected for the UK Independence Party. Term ends 2019.
Redcar and Cleveland: St Germain’s ward, after the death of Liberal Democrat councillor and former Mayor Madge Moses. Term ends 2019.
Trafford: Bucklow St Martin’s ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor John Smith who was originally elected for the Labour Party. Term ends 2019.
Warrington: Chapelford and Old Hall ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Faisal Rashid, now Member of Parliament for Warrington South. Term ends 2020.
