Results

  • Ashford: The byelection in Bockhanger ward on 8 June was won by Simon Howard-Smith. Conservative hold.
  • Ashford: The byelection in Victoria ward on 8 June was won by Charles Suddards. Labour gain from Conservative.
  • Blackburn with Darwen: The byelection in Higher Croft ward on 8 June was won by Matt Gibson. Labour hold.
  • Broadland: The byelection in Coltishall ward on 8 June was won by Jo Copplestone. Conservative hold.
  • Bromsgrove: The byelection in Alvechurch Village on 8 June was won by Kate Van der Plank. Independent gain from the Conservatives.
  • Broxtowe: The byelection in Toton and Chilwell Meadows ward on 8 June was won by Lee Fletcher. Conservative hold.
  • Bury: The byelection in Radcliffe East ward on 8 June was won by Karen Leach. Labour hold.
  • Calderdale: The byelection in Rastrick ward on 8 June was won by Sophie Whittaker. Conservative hold.
  • Calderdale: The byelection in Todmorden ward on 8 June was won by Carol Machell. Labour hold.
  • Canterbury: The byelection in Westgate ward on 8 June was won by Simon Warley. Labour gain from the Conservatives.
  • Copeland: The byelection in Newtown ward on 8 June was won by Ged McGrath. Conservative hold.
  • Cornwall: The election in Bodmin St Petroc division, postponed from May due to the death of a candidate, was won by Leigh Frost of the Liberal Democrats. This was a Liberal Democrat hold.
  • Crawley: The byelection in Pound Hill South and Worth ward on 8 June was won by Alison Pendlington. Conservative hold.
  • Dacorum: The byelection in Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield ward on 8 June was won by Graham Barrett. Conservative hold.
  • Hammersmith and Fulham: The byelection in Avonmore and Brook Green ward on 8 June was won by David Morton. Labour hold.
  • Hammersmith and Fulham: The byelection in Sands End ward on 8 June was won by Jackie Borland. Conservative hold.
  • Leicester: The byelection in Castle ward on 8 June was won by Danny Myers. Labour hold.
  • Lewes: The byelection in Seaford West ward on 8 June was won by Liz Boorman. Conservative hold.

  • Mid Sussex: The byelection for two seats in Hassocks ward on 8 June was won by Michelle Binks (Conservative) and Susan Hatton (Liberal Democrat). One Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative, and one Conservative hold.
  • North Kesteven: The byelection on 8 June in Ashby de la Launde and Cranwell ward was won by Dan Gray. Conservative hold.
  • North Kesteven: The byelection on 8 June in Heighington and Washingborough ward was won by Edward Herring. Conservative hold.
  • North Lincolnshire: The byelection in Brumby ward on 8 June was won by Steve Swift. Labour hold.
  • Oldham: The byelection in Royton North ward on 8 June was won by Clint Phythian. Labour hold.
  • Peterborough: The byelection in East ward on 8 June was won by Matthew Mahabadi. Labour gain from Conservative. As a result the Conservative administration is in a minority.
  • Salford: The byelection in Claremont ward on 8 June was won by Neil Reynolds. Labour hold.
  • Stockport: The byelection in Brinnington and Central ward on 8 June was won by Rebecca Crawford. Labour hold.
  • Torridge: The byelection in Hartland and Bradworthy ward on 8 June was won by Jane Leaper. Liberal Democrat gain from UK Independence Party.
  • Welwyn Hatfield: The byelection in Hatfield Villages ward on 8 June was won by Tara-Mary Lyons. Labour gain from Conservative.
  • West Berkshire: The byelection in Thatcham South and Crookham ward on 8 June was won by Jason Collis. Conservative hold.
  • West Lancashire: The byelection in Aughton Park ward on 8 June was won by Doreen Stephenson. Conservative hold.
  • York: The byelection in Hull Road ward on 8 June was won by Michael Pavolic. Labour hold.
  • York: The byelection in Micklegate ward on 8 June was won by Jonny Crawshaw. Labour hold.

  • Eastleigh: Hedge End Grange Park ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Louise Bloom. Term ends 2018.
  • Lewes: Ouse Valley and Ringmer ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Paul Gander. Term ends 2019.
  • North Somerset: Weston-super-Mare North Worle ward, after the death of North Somerset First Independent councillor Derek Mead who was killed in an accident at his farm. Term ends 2019.
  • West Lindsey: Scotter and Blyton ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Adam Duguid. Term ends 2019.

  • Eastleigh: The byelection due in Hedge End Grange Park ward will be held on 29 June.
  • Middlesbrough: The byelection due in Ayresome ward will be held on 13 July.
  • Middlesbrough: The byelection due in Park End and Beckfield ward will be held on 13 July.
  • South Oxfordshire: The byelection due in Didcot South ward will be held on 13 July.
