Braintree: The byelection in Bumpstead ward on 20 October was won by Diana Garrod. Conservative hold.
Braintree: The byelection in Witham North ward on 20 October was won by Philip Barlow. Labour gain from Conservative.
Conwy: The byelection in Abergele Pensarn division on 20 October was won by Alan Hunter. Independent gain from Labour.
East Riding of Yorkshire: The byelection in St Mary’s ward on 20 October was won by Denis Healy. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
Kettering: The byelection in Rothwell ward on 20 October was won by Cedwien Brown. Conservative gain from Labour.
King’s Lynn and West Norfolk: The byelection in Heacham ward on 20 October was won by Terry Parish. Independent gain from Conservative.
Medway: The byelection in Strood South ward on 20 October was won by Josie Iles. Conservative gain from the UK Independence Party.
Middlesbrough: The byelection in Central ward on 20 October was won by Matthew Storey. Labour hold.
Neath Port Talbot: The byelection in Blaengwrach division on 20 October was won by Carolyn Edwards. Plaid Cymru gain from Labour.
St Albans: The byelection in Clarence ward on 20 October was won by Ellen Hudspith. Liberal Democrat hold.
Weymouth and Portland: The byelection in Wey Valley ward on 20 October was won by Tony Ferrari. Conservative hold.

Allerdale: Mark Jenkinson, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Seaton ward but left the party in May, has now joined the Conservative Party.
Guildford: Christian Holliday, who was elected for the Conservative Party in Burpham ward, has had the Conservative whip suspended over his online petition calling for advocacy of European Union membership to be considered as treason felony.
Hartlepool: Ged Hall, who was elected for the Labour Party in Burn Valley ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor over a controversial demolition.
Middlesbrough: Terry Lawton, who was elected for the Labour Party in Brambles and Thorntree ward, has been expelled from the Labour Party.
Westminster: Murad Gassanly, who was elected for the Labour Party in Churchill ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor. He is opposed to the current national leadership of the party.

Broxbourne: Waltham Cross ward, after the death of Labour councillor Malcolm Aitken. Term ends 2020.
Cheshire East: Bollington ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Jon Weston in protest at the cut to school buses. Term ends 2019.
Fife: Leven, Kennoway and Largo ward, after the resignation of Scottish National Party councillor Alistair Hunter, who is emigrating to Australia. Term ends May next year.
Newcastle upon Tyne: Blakelaw ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Ben Riley who is taking a job overseas. Term ends 2018.
Tandridge: Valley ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Jill Caudle. Term ends 2019.
Teignbridge: Bovey ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Anna Klinkenberg. Term ends 2019.
Teignbridge: Chudleigh ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Patricia Johnson-King. Term ends 2019.

Mansfield: The byelection due in Warsop Carrs ward will be held on 24 November.
