Result
- Cornwall: The byelection in Launceston Central division on 14 January was won by Gemma Massey. Liberal Democrat hold.
Change of allegiance
- Falkirk: Steven Carleschi, who was elected for the Scottish National Party in Carse, Kinnaird and Tryst ward, has left the party after he was charged with theft.
- North East Lincolnshire: Stephen Harness, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Humberston and New Waltham ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
New vacancies
- North Kesteven: Ashby De La Launde and Cranwell ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Geoffrey Whittle. Term ends 2019.
