Results
- Edinburgh: The byelection for two seats in Leith Walk ward on 10 September was won by Lewis Ritchie of the Scottish National Party and Marion Donaldson of the Labour Party. SNP hold and Labour gain from Scottish Green Party.
- Maidstone: The byelection in Fant ward on 10 September was won by Matt Boughton. Conservative hold.
- Midlothian: The byelection in Midlothian West ward on 10 September was won by Kelly Parry. Scottish National Party hold.
- Sandwell: The byelection in Blackheath ward on 10 September was won by Danny Millard. Labour hold.
- Thurrock: The byelection in West Thurrock and South Stifford on 10 September was won by Cliff Holloway. Labour hold, thereby retaining minority control of the council.
- Tunbridge Wells: The byelection in Southborough North ward on 10 September was won by Joe Simmons. Conservative hold.

- Torbay: Clifton with Maidenway ward, after the death of Liberal Democrat councillor Ruth Pentney. Term ends 2019.

- Cambridgeshire: The byelection due in Chatteris division will be held on 15 October.
- Cheshire East: The byelection due in Congleton East ward will be held on 29 October.
- Cumbria: The byelection due in Howgate division will be held on 15 October.
- Southwark: The byelection due in South Camberwell ward will be held on 15 October.
- Westminster: The byelection due in Bryanston and Dorset Square ward will be held on 22 October.
