South West London; the only London borough to cross the River Thames. Predominantly wealthy residential areas either side (Barnes, Mortlake, Kew, Ham on the south bank, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton Court on the north).

The Liberal Democrats gained Hampton North from the Conservatives at a byelection on 18 January.
