North Yorkshire Independent 10 (including Reform UK 1), Conservative and Independent 3 (sit in the Conservative group), Independent unaffiliated 3, Liberal Party 1 (sits in the Liberal Democrat group), Social Justice Party 1. The most rural part of Yorkshire, including York itself, the Scarborough/Whitby/Filey coast area, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

The Liberal Democrats regained Stray, Woodlands and Hookstone at a byelection on 11 April. Paul Haslam (Bilton and Nidd Gorge) moved from Conservative to Independent unaffiliated in March 2024. Michelle Donohue-Moncrieff (Hunmanby and Sherburn) moved from NY Independent to Independent unaffiliated in February 2024. Mike Jordan (Camblesforth and Carlton) joined Reform UK in February 2024 but remains in the NY Independent group. The Liberal Democrats gained Sowerby and Topcliffe from the Green Party at a byelection on 30 November.
