Independence from the EU 2, Nethermayne Independents 2. South Essex new town, also including the older town of Billericay. Has an iconic status arising from the marginality of the constituency in the 1980s.

At byelections on 21 June, Labour held Lee Chapel North, and gained Pitsea South East from the UK Independence Party. Derrick Fellowes and Steven Hodge (Nethermayne) moved from UK Independence Party to Nethermayne Independents in May 2018.
