The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Charnwood: The byelection for two seats in Loughborough Hastings ward on 26 October was won by Mary Draycott and Colin Hamilton. Labour hold both seats.
Derbyshire Dales: The byelection in Ashbourne South ward on 26 October was won by Dermot Murphy. Conservative hold.
Herefordshire: The byelection in Kings Acre ward on 26 October was won by Stuart Anderson. Conservative gain from It’s Our County.
Kirklees: The byelection in Batley East ward on 26 October was won by Habiban Nisa Zaman. Labour regain a seat lost through the defection of the previous councillor to Independent.
Mid Sussex: The byelection in East Grinstead Imberhorne ward on 26 October was won by Rex Whittaker. Conservative hold.
Tameside: The byelection in Droylsden East ward on 26 October was won by David Mills. Labour hold.

Leeds: Catherine Dobson (Killingbeck and Seacroft ward) has left the Labour Party and joined the East Leeds Independents group founded by her brother Mark.
North Norfolk: More councillors have left the Conservative group this week, leaving the administration without a majority. The latest to move are
Ann Green (Wensum ward), Nick Coppack (Gaunt ward), and Simon Hester (Priory ward). In the case of Doug Smith (Sheringham North ward), the party switch was occasioned by his move to Tunbridge Wells.

Hyndburn: St Oswald’s ward, after the death of Independent councillor Paul Thompson, who was elected for the UK Independence Party. Term ends May next year.
Kent: Birchington and Rural division, after the death of Conservative councillor Ken Gregory. Term ends 2021.
Corporation of London: Bishopsgate ward, after the resignation of Pooja Suri Tank. Term ends 2021.
Corporation of London: Portsoken ward, after Alderman Michael Bear surrendered his office. Term ends 2023.
North Devon: Newport ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Mike Harrison. Term ends 2019.
Thanet: Thanet Villages ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Ken Gregory. Term ends 2019.
Torridge: Torrington ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Roger Darch, who was elected for the UK Independence Party. Term ends 2019.

Gosport: The byelection due in Bridgemary North ward will be held on 30 November.
Corporation of London: The byelection due in Bishopsgate ward will be held on Tuesday 14 November.
Corporation of London: The Aldermanic election due in Portsoken ward will be held on 14 December.
Tandridge: The byelection due in Westway ward will be held on 30 November.
Torridge: The byelection due in Torrington ward will be held on 30 November.
